Answers to Common Artwork Questions
Q: All I have is a sample of a label. What do I do?
A: International Label’s team of graphic designers will recreate the label from the sample. If there is any changes or improvements to be made, make a photocopy of the sample label and show the changes on the photocopy. Art charges billed at $75.00/hour. Any logos or photos that you can supply on disk will lessen the time it will take to recreate the label.
Q: I have a label style in mind for a new label, but no artwork. Can you help?
A: International Label’s graphic designers can produce the artwork you are desiring.
- Provide us with as much information as you can.
- Mail or fax a sketch of what you want it to look like (show color breaks).
- If there is text, tell us what type styles you are considering. If there is a lot of text, you may want to type it in an email, and send it to us. This will save on art charges!
Q: I have the label set up in Word. Is this okay?
A: We can use the text only from a word document. We will still need to see a printout of how the label should be set up so we can recreate it.
